Weekend Randomness

This weekend we packed it full....
On Friday night we celebrated our friend Ed's birthday.

We had a great time with Him and his beautiful wife Julie.

And then on Saturday Malaina had ISSMA.

This is her ensemble she sang with.

They won GOLD!

And then her piano solo that almost wasn't.

Somehow her book slipped out of someone's arms and we could absolutely not find it!

Our friend Ted helped look for it....

No one had seen it! Our girl was not pleased. She was trying to be gracious and not break down into streams of tears but she was dangerously close to a break down.

After about 45 minutes of looking, a stranger walked up to the place we were standing and opened her bag. She had found a book she assumed was her daughters and taken it with her. When her daughter saw the book she said, "that's not my book".

So lucky days.....She brought our book back.

Happy Girl!

She played flawlessly!

And she remembered to give the occasional smile.

She received Gold.

After we were done here we headed to Ohio to see my nephew's and niece perform in the

The Witch and the boy

Here is our niece Erin and nephew James. They did a great job as a dog and cat. Thier brother Neil was also in the play....He was a tree.

Here is my nephew Mike. He was a very, happy, bunny in the play. He was so happy and bouncy!

They all did so good. We were so glad we went!
